Hi, Charlene-We do this all of the time at parties, so why not save ourselves some dishpan hands at home, too? Then you can just pitch them at the end of the day. My Hubby likes drinking out of glasses, so we're trying to "phase out" the plastic cups. I've thought about making those personalized coasters so everyone remembers where they set down their glass! Here's hoping all is well with you and your family. -EW
No kidding. Not just labeling the cups, but using disposable. Sometimes your sanity just needs a little break.
I wrote a post once about spending a week with only disposables just to deal with the overwhelming nature of motherhood. Real Simple for the Barely Functioning.
I honestly don't usually push my blog, but I thought you might connect with this one.
I do this when we have playdates or parties but it never dawned on me to do it on a daily basis!! Do you realize how many cups this would save me and how many fights I wouldn't have to break up?? Well, of course you do....you've got a zillion kids, just like me!
Hahaha - smooth move:)
ReplyDeleteWe will probably be doing that at the lake this weekend if someone remembers to bring a Sharpie!
ReplyDeleteI hear you there. Three kids and their friends equals a lot of dishes.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog Little Tots Big Ideas.
