Now that Nicholas has started wrestling again, I've been hearing Nathan complain that "there's nothing to do"
You know, because we don't have enough tvs, other kids, games and toys to entertain him.
I decided it was time for a craft.
We made tissue paper turkeys.
We used oak tag paper, red, yellow, orange and brown tissue paper (cut into squares), google eyes and lots of glue.
I cut a feather/wing shape, a body, feet and a beak out of the paper and Nathan started glueing crumpled up squares to the paper.
We used red, orange and yellow for the feathers.
brown for the body, orange for the feet and yellow for the beak
We glued the body to the feathers and added google eyes (the turkey has a really cool 3D effect - when you glue it all together).
Cute little turkey, huh?
(the tissue paper turkey turned out really cute too)
