Today the boys made some fun beetle bugs.
We were inspired by the book
The Very Clumsy Click Beetle
by Eric Carle
to make these beetle bugs, you will need:
styrofoam balls cut in half
various paints
glue
various colored pipe cleaners
google eyes
cut the balls in half and paint them in fun colors and designs
make sure to leave a humongous mess for mom to clean up while you wait for the paint to dry
here comes the really fun part...
making your beetles all kinds of awesome by gluing eyes and pipe cleaners on them
these beetles are too cute to be creepy.
I wish all bugs could be pink and purple, then maybe I wouldn't be so freaked out by them ;)
