I missed last week's post...mostly because I was a bit disappointed that I didn't lose any weight.
Well, I didn't lose any this week either.
I think I just have so much junk going on that it's been hard to exercise.
For the last few weeks the only exercise I was able to get was when
I was walking back and forth to my classes. That plus, I ended up getting sick.
Blah....
But on a good note, I didn't gain anything, so that's a good thing.
I'm working on changing things up a bit and I'm hoping that it will help.
In the mean time, here's a quick peek a few dinner meals that I love.
Salisbury steak and Mac and cheese with a side of green beans
Turkey medallions with mashed potatoes with a side of green beans
Some of my other faves are the Italian flatbread bread pizza.
I love pizza.
At first, when I saw the size of this meal I was a bit shocked and thought that it would not
be very satisfying, being so small in size.
However, I was surprised that it did satisfy me and filled me up
I also tricked myself a bit by cutting my pizza into four pieces. This little trick made me feel like I was eating a lot, even though it really wasn't much. It's a trick that I have done with most of my other
Nutrisystem meals, Cutting things into smaller portions tricks your mind into thinking you are getting a lot of food, even though you really aren't. It works...sound weird, but it truly does.
I'm still fighting the depression, but I have a doctor visit coming soon, so I'm hoping that will help.
Here's a current picture, although not much has changed in my looks so far....
