Pretzel Log Cabin & Penny Pizzas

We are celebrating President's Day this weekend.

Today was Lincoln Day!

We made a log cabin and some penny pizzas.

For the cabin, we used pretzels, a cardboard carton, a sheet of cardboard and mini pretzel sticks

I taped the top of the box closed and I used a knife to cut a hole for the door.

We took the sheet of cardboard paper and cut it down to fit the house and folded it in half.

Next, smear some peanut butter on the box

Start placing pretzels on the box.

I had to laugh when looking through these pics...Nathan has a mouthful of pretzels in just about every pic

LOL!

Do the same with the roof

Place the roof on top of the box (we didn't glue it or anything, we just gently put it on top).

Penny Pizzas

These are just like bagel bites, except we used biscuits instead of bagels.

You will need refrigerated biscuits, sauce, cheese and little mini pepperoni.

the pepperoni is the exact same size as a penny, hence the name

penny pizza

Preheat oven to 450 degrees

Flatten the biscuits on a cookie sheet

Add a spoonful of sauce to the dough

Sprinkle some cheese on top

Add some pepperoni

Bake according to package directions (about 10 mins or so)

YUMMY...the kids gobbled these right up.
