Tell us a bit about yourself......I grew up in South Dakota, and so did my husband! We have 3 children, ages 5, 3 and 1.
Name 3 Fun Facts about you......I teach clogging classes. I lived in Paris for a semester of college. I'm a former middle school sewing teacher.
When did you first start blogging......I first started blogging when my husband was still in school. It was a silly name in French, so I deleted that blog. Last summer, we made a big move, and I restarted my blog with a different name (Family Ever After), and its been such a fun way to connect and share and grow. It motivates me to get things done!
What is your blog about.......sewing, crafting, kid ideas, holidays, recipes, adventures, pictures
Why do you blog......haha, i ask myself this question every day! sometimes i get the "blogging blues," when i ask myself why i do this. but then my husband reminds me that its a great hobby, and that its like a journal. he always encourages me to keep it up, without going overboard. :)
Must read blogs that you visit daily......sooo many, i don't read blogs every single day, but i like to stay updated. here's a huge list of my favorites: http://www.linksiheart.blogspot.com/
What inspires you......the country, long road trips, music, my family, a good movie, my husband
Do you have a bucket list - what's on it..... oh yes i do, see here! http://www.familyeverafterblog.com/2011/05/my-bucket-list.html. a few things on it: learn to play the mandolin, have a huge haunted house on halloween, learn to speak hungarian, bask in a field of sunflowers, design my own fabric.
Do you have any blogging advice that you would like to share......Be true to yourself and what you love. Challenge yourself. My best blogging ideas come to me when I'm offline, living my life. Life kinda writes the blog for me. I just have to remember to take pictures!
You can read more about Rach and her beautiful family by visiting her fabulously fun blog Family Ever After.
