We celebrated Earth Day a bit early by making a super adorable craft
and by reading a new book called What A Wonderful World.
For the craft, we used various paints, a paper plate and brown butcher paper.
We had Nathan lay on the paper with his arms outstretched and Zachary traced him
Then, Nathan painted himself....
He also painted a paper plate blue and added green splotches to make the Earth.
next we cut the painting out and folded over the arms
Nathan painted the other side of his arms and hands
and we glued the plate (Earth) to his hands.
Super cool, Don't you think?
Our book is a new book by Tiger Tales called What a Wonderful World by Suzanne Chiew.
The story is set to rhyme and is about a mama bear and her cub and how they travel the world and see so many beautiful things...the sunrises, the oceans, forests and new friends. The book is about the beautiful wonders of our world and the perfect book to read and celebrate Earth Day.
*Disclosure: I received a copy of this book for review purposes. The opinions (and crafts) herein are my own and were not influenced by Tiger Tales.

I love your craft! What a great way to celebrate Earth Day.
Aww thanks, I wanted to get the kids involved more by picking up litter and maybe make a treat, but that didn't happen (had to study). Nathan was happy with the craft we did, so I guess that was enough.
Popping in to say.. it has been a while since you blogged. Hope you are having too much fun to have time to blog. Praying it is not something hard that is keeping you away.
