How do you clean your glass stove top? And keep it looking clean? We recently purchased this LG glass top electric range and I love it. But it is so hard to keep clean and since it's new, I want it to look new. But in a house with 6 budding chefs, there is stuff constantly being spilled all over it. I tried a few cleansers that are supposed to be used on glass tops, but I'm not satisfied with how well they work.
If you have a glass stove top, what products do you use to keep it clean? And how often do you clean it?

I use a magic eraser. It takes a lot less elbow grease, no smell, and works like a charm.
I spray mine with scrubbing bubbles and it works pretty good. For anything stuck on, a Scotch Brite sponge gets it off with out scratching.
I don't have a glass stove top, but I always try different products because mine is never perfectly clean.
I have 2 awards for you.

Enjoy your weekend and Happy Mother's Day!!
We have a glass top stove, but it's white. I use the really expensive scotch pads (the tops are scratchy but rubbery) and soft scrub. Now, I can't say that it doesn't leave scratches.... there are tons of tiny scratches on my glass. I was using the expensive cleaner that they sold with the stove, but it has basically the same ingredients as soft scrub.
Sorry, no help :).
Hi! I just found you through the article on Homemaking Cottage and love your blog! So I have a product called Ceramabryte that I got at Lowe's, I think. You rub, rub, rub, rub, rub in a circular motion with a cloth or paper towel until it is all rubbed away clean. It works great. I know there are special scrapers for hard baked-on particles but I use the cerrated edge of a butter knife and it works on almost all of them!
